Why Bridging Family?

We want to share our great family with you. That's why we started Bridging Family. We have years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and haven't found that same family feeling in the locations we worked, so we set out to change that by starting our own company. We invite you into our family to help bridge the gap for people who do not have this great family support. Come be a part of our extended family: Bridging Family!

“Here are a few things that being part of our family means:”

♦ We are here for you families are not just available 8-5 and neither are we. We are just a phone call away 24 hours/7 days a week.

♦ Dreaming and then planning together - We love to dream big together about what life can be like. But we then go a step further and figure out how to change something from a dream into reality with measurable goals. Let's live the dream!

♦ We listen sometimes it's just nice to have a friendly face to listen to you.

♦ Extended family – we don’t have all the answers so we partner with other amazing people that we consider to be part of our extended family to help make your dream life a reality. We bring high quality host homes together with individuals with developmental disabilities and support both groups with our "extended family" support.

♦ Informal get togethers we like to get together and enjoy our extended families' company. At Bridging Family, we have at least two family reunions a year - a summer picnic and a winter holiday party.
