Frequently asked questions

What do I need to do as a Host Home Provider?

As a Host Home Provider, you are opening your home to another person. A person who will be looking to you for support. That support includes: providing meals, transportation, community activities, and other support as needed depending on the individual. Providers also need to help design the support plans for the individual they are supporting and maintain records of the support provided.

What will the individual do during the day?

Many of the people we support have a job or attend day program activities. Some of our people may wish to stay home during the day or are not able to work or attend a day program. We work with each Host Home Provider and person that we support to make sure there is a good fit.

What if I need help?

We are on call 24/7. We have both a coordinator and nursing team that will support you. We will visit you regularly in your home and you will have access to their contact information for any additional support needed.
